WOW! A lot has happened since my last post. This past Saturday was my first baby shower. My friends and my mama did a fantastic job. We had so much fun and my baby boys got lots of fun stuff! I had so many great friends show up and I laughed the whole day. I take that back.....I didn't the laugh the whole day. My dear friend Kami and my darling sister cooked up a little scheme, since my sister couldn't be there. They made a video of my sister talking to me, so that she could be part of the party for me! I am now crying (again) just thinking about it. My sister and her family were in route to Paraguay that day where they will be living for the next 2 years. However, between the video message from my sisser and the darling books that Emma, Isaac & Eli got for my boys, I knew they were there in spirit. Other than that the day was full of laughter and hugs. I have so many great people in my life and I consider myself the luckiest gal around.

On Monday the 28th was our 24 week ultrasound with the perinatologist. After what seemed like decades of waiting we got to see our beautiful baby boys again. They are getting so big (eggplants this week), I can't hardly believe it. However, as usual, they are the picture of perfection. They measure perfectly in every aspect. I really can't believe that they are mine. The doctor told us that everything is looking so good that we hopefully won't have to return to them anymore, we can just have the rest of our ultrasounds with Dr. Noorda. What a relief.
Also the remodel of the basement is underway. I can't wait to have the nursery done (I think I am most excited about that.) However, it seems to be taking its tole on me. After several days of going all day long without a break and then staying up later than usual (10:00 pm) my body had a melt down. I could barely even pull myself out of bed yesterday to make it to work and just as soon as I was done working I was back home in bed where I remained until the alarm went off this morning. I guess these babies need a minimum of 10-12 hours of rest per day. I feel so lazy sometimes, but I guess it is a good excuse, right?
Well that is all for now. I will return as updates are needed. Thanks to all of my wonder friends and family for the support and love that I am truly feeling. I really am one lucky gal, and my boys will be just as lucky because we have so much love and support all around us. THANKS!
